Stretching, Warm Up and Warm Down
Proper attention to stretching, warm up and warm down is essential for peak performance. Prior to hitting the water for warm up, each swimmer should follow the SCCY Barracudas Stretching Program Guidelines.

Performing each stretch correctly, holding each stretch for a minimum of 20 seconds and repeating each stretch a minimum of two times. The coaching staff prefers these stretches to be performed as a group with one or two “stretch leaders” this emphasizes our team support for one another. Stretching can also be done at home as an adjunct to their practice schedule!

Youth Sports Nutrition Tips
Youth sports are ideal for the development of children in many, many ways. Most importantly, children learn to have fun while exercising and to appreciate the physical and psychological benefits of being active.
